new bag & gloves

i went with some friends to buy gloves the other day, because to our dismay, we didn't bring our gloves with us! i remember my gloves (my nice gloves...) being in the pile of stuff i was packing, and i meant to bring them here, but somehow they didn't make it. i was very sad to discover this the other day. i searched all of my belongings (there aren't that many...) but couldn't find them. the last time i remember seeing them was in a pile that was waiting to be packed, so i don't know what happened to them after that. anyway, after we all chose gloves, we were about to leave, and i saw this bag!!

i had to buy it, since i've been wanting a bag other than my backpack to use. sometimes a backpack is a bit excessive. anyway, on this bag, there is a cat. he needed a friend. and the bag says, "time files so fast in busy daily life." i thought it was appropriate. although i think it means "flies" and not "files." =)

i didn't really want to get the gloves with the poofy fuzzy things on them, but they were the most comfortable, so i ignored the fuzzy poofs and got them anyway. they are very useful when riding my bike to school when it's cold and windy.
