- too many things in the stores. who knew there were a gazillion different yogurts and a dozen different ways and sizes to buy black olives? but, cereal, i love you.
- too many coupons. too many sales. who has time to keep track of
all that stuff? yet they have to if they want to not pay really
expensive prices. and i guess it's not a bad marketing strategy for
department stores like Kohl's to put out special coupons all the time
because it keeps customers coming to the store to see if they can find
anything they "need" to make use of the coupon. sneaky.
- too much worry about politics? i don't know about this one.
maybe i'm just not super interested in politics. but people have such
strong opinions about hot-topic issues and such strong opinions about
their political party. i don't think i agree that strongly about any
particular view on an issue. or maybe i just make my own view and it
doesn't match any of the other ones that lots of people seem to cling
to. kind of like i didn't watch the harry potter movies because
everyone else was.
- i spend too much money. because i'm thinking, i won't be able
to buy something like this again for at least one year, so i'd better
buy it while i have the chance, and i won't spent *that* much money
while i'm in china, so if it's a little more expensive, it's ok.
and then i proceed to buy 4 tubes of toothpaste, 6 bottles of mousse, 8
tank tops that actually fit me, etc. ok, some of those are actually
justified. ish. but i wonder if the cashier ever wonders why i'm
buying 6 bottles of mousse. haha.
