crosstitch update #2

i posted pictures of the crossstitch kit i bought before. this is an update on how much i've gotten done since those first pictures. i think it's been about 5 weeks since i first bought it and started it. this is how much i've done now:
you should be able to tell that i'm still on the first color: black. =) this part of it has the most concentrated area of black.

here's so you can put things in persepctive:

the first picture makes it look like a lot, doesn't it. it is...except not, compared to how much is left. making progress though!

i work on it while watching star trek voyager a lot of the time. i realized, after i started watching it since it's the only tv show i have with me, that the plot and characters of voyager go very well with a stage of life of moving to an entirely new country. everyone on voyager is far from home, trying to get home, and building friendships along the way because they have to, they're stuck with each other. much like the staff where i work...haha. except we all chose to be here and in voyager they didn't. but here we all are looking for a country of our own. h11/13-16

  1. Nice work on the crosstitch! Deep thoughts with Deep Voyager... Hmm, are you getting enough protein out there? I think your grasp on reality is slipping... ;)

  2. That is a cool pattern. I thought it was some sort of 16-bit computer output at first! You should have other TV shows to watch. Is it OK to mail DVDs to China?
