things i've done recently

• climbed 275 stairs when the elevator in my building wasn't working
• rode my bike while it was snowing and got snow up my nose
• went to the store on chinese new year's eve when the extra shelves full of red boxes of new year's presents crowded the normal aisles when there were way more people in the store than there usually are
• played every level of mario kart
• got ticket to ride for free on the ipad
• made pea soup
• organized my book wish list.  I LOVE BOOKS.  see here for some books i've enjoyed. i rated all the books i posted, but i didn't bother to post any books that i didn't enjoy at all (except Foundation by isaac asimov--not sure why i posted that one...)  i always love book recommendations!!

what i will do soon:

• ride in business class on the way to japan (yay frequent flier miles!)
• see my brother!
• see places we used to live in japan together
• see my friend of over 20 years, christie!
